Toads
I smiled as the light shone brightly
on the toad at the edge of the garden
A journey into the cloud…
I smiled as the light shone brightly
on the toad at the edge of the garden
My garden, nature’s whim:
wild thing.
The still cool air gently brushes
over the face searching for the sun;
the crunchy spiced munch
pops with the sweet berryness
fresh paint
on history
Fairies in pink satin
dance along the breeze;
while we mere mortals
see blossoms that please
dandelion’s bright sun rays
When the world crowds our wings, It’s time to enjoy the little things. Art and Couplet by Sheri
Poem in Your Pocket Day
Greet the sun:
Hello, Spring!
She sees the birds with focused eyes;
Still in this time her prey she spies,
Looking down
I saw looking up
the sky so brilliant
in the five petals
of the forget-me-not
The lost remembered
as we, like water, flow on:
connected spirits.
count four
up and through
repeat until 5;
22 count fabric
held gently flat;
What?
Rich red blossoms
of April bud on
a once ancient plant
