Love Like A Rose Blossom
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. One year in 2018 my son Greg brought me the smallest yet bright and lovely yellow roses in a little pot— little petals of sunshine unfolding so gently. I thought of them today, Mothers Day— and how the petals are still caressing one another as it also lets go, a bit like loving our children— always nurturing, holding gently while letting them go to become who they want to be. I’m so proud of Greg as a person, son, father, husband, brother, uncle— ever caring and always moving forward, learning and loving each day.
