Day 329 FebDoodle Hug
FebDoodle
My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. Today I chose “hug” as a prompt from DoodleADay ElloLovey. I am usually creating them in this funky style I learned from Brenda Bakker of the Netherlands in her Sketchy Doodle Skillshare Class. Today’s doodle is possible because of Jennifer Nichol‘s Character Class on Skillshare.
While I can draw bean and gum drop people, I struggle with characters, but I’m getting better. I’ve even taught my family to doodle gumdrop people, which I learned from Diane Bleck of the Doodle Institute.
So getting some strategies and processes to draw better characters was a bonus for me. And, it allowed me to draw the little red-haired girl hugging her kitten. Very fun.
Thank you Diane, Brenda, and Jennifer.
We all can learn to be better; sometimes we just need to follow the guides of others. Don’t be afraid to learn or to ask for help!
