Beauty in emptiness
Today’s Daily Create [ @ds106dc #tdc3312 ]shares the idea that “Paul Cupido’s Japan series is inspired by a saying of the Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi: ‘An empty room will be filled with light because of its emptiness.’ It shared the Guardian‘s example of artful examples of emptiness blossoming to something.
So everywhere my husband and I go we often stop in awe of the wonder of nature and our earth, snapping pictures of the views, small and large, that inspire our opportunity to “stop and smell the roses.” But what do you do with those pictures snapped? Today, I gathered 125 of those images that caught both expanses and glimpses of the beauty of light– of emptiness in nothing to enlightened something. I placed them into an album on my iPad where I was given an option to create a “memory moment.” So I did, and immediately found myself viewing a video with music of the chosen images. Fortunately, I could also export that video so you can view those images as well, my contribution to “photographs that find beauty in emptiness“–#tdc3312.
