Day 320 Snow
Daily Notes
A Daily Challenge to myself: a photograph and poetry. I almost missed the snow today, but how lovely the white blanket is across the yards. So soothing and hopeful. I modeled my poem after one of my favorites, Dust of Snow by Robert Frost.
Snow
The way the sky
shook off its cold-
with snow it piled
on a porch so old
Has given my heart
a calm indeed
to sense the start
of this time we’re still free.

Daily Create
The Daily Create #tdc3303 today asked us to create our own Bernie meme. I found Bernie at Grand Coulee Dam.
The sculpture is Singing After Work, 1999, cast aluminum by Richard Beyer.
January Doodle
I have more to do with this. So far I have eight different color backgrounds. I really like. It think it needs a bit texture behind the design– like dots or leaves or something. But it was quite fun. I applied some of the assets from the Rainbow project to this one whose prompt is “unicorn.”
#spoonflower #doodleaday #clmooc #DoodleADayJanELSF @spoonflower @ellolovey #jandoodle #sunshine — A doodle a day with my friends at CLmooc, #jandoodle, with prompts for Spoonflower. Enjoy.
