Day 155 Sweet Koolness

Kool_A_Sweetness small

Oh my gosh– thinking about what to water color today and I thought of a childhood drink: Kook-Aid. My gosh– all that red food coloring and sugar!  We must have drank a ton of it– cold with ice cubes on hot summer days.

For my own boys, I used only a quarter cup, but then my son Jake could not tolerate the food coloring– gave him headaches. So… no more of that.

Now there are so many drinks, not good and good. We are strange beings, we who love flavor!

This water color was created following a class by Brenda Bakker on Skillshare using the app ProCreate and the watercolor brushes Brenda created and shared with her students to use as they need.  I’ll be working with this process for a series of watercolor paintings:

Day 152 Limoncello

Day 153 Shadows in Procreate [Wine]

Day154 Lavender Fizz
