Day 5
3/18/2020
Many, many years ago my daughter-in-law gave me this fairy/orb statue. On the back, facing the window for sun, is a solar plate so the sun charges it for night time glowing. A few years ago, it stopped working, though I’d checked and cleaned the parts. I left it in the window, next to the cat-bed, because I like to look at it– the fairy wings and gentle face of a pixie holding on to her dreams. And, I hoped it would one day work again.
And yesterday, it did. It glowed in soft golden light, a sign of hope, a light forward. That is what we all need right now.
I hope you are all staying home and staying safe, wherever you are. There are many people following this blog, and I wish you all will find a sign of hope, and please comment to say how you are doing. We are one family in this world, and connecting helps us know we are supporting each other. Take good care.
Although this post is a Slice of My Life, part of a March Slice of Life by The Two Writing Teachers with tweets at #sol20, I write this to my readers and send you all a bit of hope.

Wow! That seems like a good sign. Thanks for a midweek lift in bleak times.
Hi Kim — I know! I find myself looking for signs, and right now, with spring, there are so many. Thanks for stopping by and for doing the same to uplift others on your blog! -Sheri
