Meleagris gallopavo

Sheen of emerald and bronze
like a magical beast
circling, hesitant,

Daily Create Prompt:  #DS106  #tdc4003  #clmooc  #dailycreate  Childhood Terrors: Sunday Sermons

A beautiful church, but taking a cue and memory from @Ronald_2008, I remember when the sermon would start, the castle-like hanging lanterns would slowly dim, covering the light and leaving us in near dark. Creepy.

Lovely Anglican style brick Lutheran church on a treed street next to the tutor-style parsonage with the information from the blog post: “Daily Create Prompt:  #DS106  #tdc4003  #clmooc  #dailycreate  Childhood Terrors: Sunday Sermons

Taking a cue and memory from @Ronald_2008, I remember when the sermon would start, the castle-like hanging lanterns would slowly dim, covering the light and leaving us in near dark. Creepy.

And the new church added on looks like a fortress rather than a shelter or place to celebrate one’s God.

And the lovely parsonage is gone.”
