ds106 @ds106dc #tdc3860 #myFest22 Watch the artist Vaskange’s video shared by @arsivbiltek, a never-ending story and create a story from three frames.

My fellow DS106 creator, Heather Ketschmer shared a beautiful cumulative tale for her response:

I watched the video over and over and then returned to the beginning, the first scene and found it to be as if the artist’s mind– his/her world. And so, my response to the first three frames of the never-ending story…

our minds
gather and wrap us in a
world of our own

packing and unpacking
experience and connection and feeling

so we may dream about
moving forward with loved ones
always with us, welcoming,
through the chaos
to awaken ready and safe
to create our inclusive, caring world

As I think about a better world that our minds our wrap up the changes in our weather systems in heat domes and sudden flash flooding and where we take our dreams to act on climate change, I found today two resources to help:

  • Holding Change: “Holding Change is about attending to coordination, to conflict, to being humans in right relationship with each other, not as a constant ongoing state, but rather as a magnificent, mysterious, ever-evolving dynamic in which we must involve ourselves, shape ourselves and each other. The majority of the book is sourced from brown’s twenty-plus years of facilitation and mediation work with movement groups.” from the website
  • All We Can Save: “an anthology of writings by 60 women at the forefront of the climate movement who are harnessing truth, courage, and solutions to lead humanity forward” from the website
  • All We Can Save Circles Facilitation Guides: to build a community and a movement
