MayDoodle Watercolor Meadowlark

My CLmooc friends doodle every day.

Today I’m pleased with the meadowlark I painted on my own with the same technique and brushes from one of the lessons in the Teela Cunningham Messy Watercolors class.

I used Jennifer Nichols of Leila and Po canvas texture brush to create the canvas.

I love the melody of the meadowlark’s song. When I worked, two always sang to me— one on the roadside on a the wire, just at the stretch by the round house and the other on the wire in front of the school, just viewable out my classroom window and near where I parked my car. I looked and listened for them everyday in their season.
