Snow Kindness

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today, as people venture out for their daily work after a weekend of sparkling snowfall, the sidewalks must be cleared. It’s not an easy job, especially for us older folks, so how delightful we are with the kindness shown by neighbors who clear the walks for us. Thank you so much. We’ll find a way to reciprocate. 🙂

Snow Kindness

Snow, so lovely, white all around
Lovely to linger as it shines on the ground;
If only it stayed so merry and light
But soon our footsteps break its calm sight
As daily life moves us to venture out
The sidewalks must be cleared all about;
So thankful for our neighbors, dear,
Who kindly help their elders here
Tossing snow to clear the way
All of us hoping for warmer days.
