Hope is Onward

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. A dreary day today, and Scott is out and about doing his thing. I do not sleep well. I think this is probably true of many of us now. So I looked for in my photos something lovely, to look forward to in the future, and so these lovely lilacs from my back porch that bloom each year appeared, and I look forward to these which will grow on and on until someone chops them down. But for me, this little bush that grew there on its own, it stays, a lovely hope for spring.

Hope is onward,
A vision of what could be
An image of what has always been
Something to hold,
A way onward.
