My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. April’s prompts are from Rachelle at TinkerLab — #tinkerlab. We also participate in the “#sketchdesignrepeat #3x3designchallenge” sketch design challenge. Or, just doodle what you like and when you can. 

Today I developed the third of the 3×3 challenge to create a winter woods scene. I wanted something stylized and simple. I planned out three simple trees, no evergreen and two deciduous with a few left-over leaves. I also stylized my quail this time while arrange the elements into a pattern.

The above is a test of the design on four different color backgrounds. Which do you like?
