Day 387 Adventure

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today, Scott fixed the battery on our Jeep Cherokee, which has served us well and still since 1994. I drove it to work every day until about 2010 when we needed a larger vehicle to hold more grandkids for summer visits and trips to the “sand hill beach,” Cresent Bay.
So often we giggle remembering this moment:

Looks back and
Looks back
Behind us—
Keeps looking back and then
“The boat’s still following us, Grampa.”How would she know—
