Day 370 MarchDoodle Door
MarchDoodle
My CLmooc friends doodle everyday. Today I chose “door” as a prompt from DoodleADay ElloLovey. See all the entries here: DoodleADayMarch.
I love rounded doors. We have one in our house. The hobbits’ doors are round. Hobbits like the occasional adventure– probably found in an opportunity they didn’t know was there at first. Life is like that.
Like a hobbit, I like staying home. I’m not one to be off on endless trips here and there around town. On the other hand, I like the occasional adventure, like a Sunday trip to a short hike with a great view of water fowl drifting with the breeze and the water.
And the opportunity for online work as a result of taking a class. I participated in the Cult of Pedagogy JumpStart course and was subsequently asked to become a mentor for future teacher participants. An unexpected door opened because I had opened one. And that mentorship is still a favorite part of my day– helping teachers improve their pedagogically sound integration of appropriate technology. I’m so thankful for that opportunity.
So— watch for those doors!
