Day 361 Wildflower

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem.

Today on our walk, a delight of one of my favorite spring and summer things: the lovely pansies and violas. This little “Johnny JumpUp” love the cool spring and once it has finished its bloom, it plants many little seeds for next year.

For more information, see The Spruce: Growing Violas

Wild Pansy

Before the trees bud,

know the sign of spring: small, bright:

the purple pansy.
