Today’s Daily Create [ @ds106dc #tdc3339 ] is to create yourself transforming into a chess piece.

I found this cute image, no known copyright, on Flickr Commons, one of my go-to places for inspiration and background images.

I chose the knight. I always liked how tricky it is, being able to jump around like no other piece can. If I were an expert chess player, this piece would be one of my strategies. Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone, in case I decide to play.

And my husband says I am a bit sly. I rather sneak in my ideas in subtle ways.

So there I am with my purple and teal glasses, grey hair, and my art on my dress… I think I make a great knight, guardian of the creative.
