Day 309 Carrots

Daily Notes

A Daily Challenge to myself: a photograph and poetry. Today’s walk through Cole Park reminded me of the way people care for the wild creatures, if needed. Our local herd of deer find winter foliage lacking at about this time, so neighbors help out with a few carrots.

Winter foliage
nourishes nature’s creatures;
sometimes humans help.

January Doodle

For my doodle a day with my friends at CLmooc, #jandoodle, with prompts for Spoonflower, a site I share my art to at times, I created an illustration in a pattern for the prompt, “Art Studio.” What is in my art studio? duo water color brushes, water color paper and brushes, colored pencils, paint water glass, watercolor tin. So that’s what I drew and painted for the pattern, along with a paint spatter background.

I think it is pretty cheerful. I may need to make these into Spoonflower tea towels, but use them in my “art studio,” which is really part of my living room in our small house. 🙂

Daily Create

The Daily Create #tdc3290 today asked us to create euphemisms. OK. I thought about what might have been left afterwards.

Let’s hope we can pick up the trash and the pieces of our democratic republic.
