Inspiration for NaNoWriMo: A Curious Squirrel
In my story, chipmunks play a small role, leading characters to places they need to find or distracting them away from places they want to find. Curious creatures, chipmunks and squirrels.
Today, on my walk to clear my mind and ready for hours of writing for my novel today, this curious squirrel danced around one of the many lovely maple trees along the main straight, a highway through our little town.
Obviously, the creatures enjoys a human friend, because it danced back and forth behind and around the tree, moving closer to us, hoping perhaps for some peanuts or sunflower seeds, which, we did not have, but perhaps I will bring some next time.
I think this squirrel will show up in one of the events of my novel, because it is so darn cute.
