Day 192 Peace Pendulum

Our #CLmooc group around the world is looking for hope in world filled with darkness, hence these posts #findinghope. My friend, Kevin Hodgson, found hope in the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and put them to music to share on this International Day of Peace:
The pendulum swings back and forth. In years past, lawmakers worked together to pass laws benefiting all Americans. So, in this time where facts and help are so needed, the plea for this Day of Peace is for us to work together to overcome the issues of the day, from COVID to climate, through kindness and compassion.
My hope is that we will find in our leaders that compassion — that we will vote to elect leaders — those that reach out again to work together “across the aisle” for all Americans, rather than for one’s party, to find peace and progress in common ground.
I have hope for that peace.

Thank you, Kevin, for creating the musical tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg words that provide a hope for working together again. And thanks for choosing my art as part of it. 🙂
