I’ve talked before about the different way that Affinity Designer requires the artist to think about the design. For the shadow of the root beer float and vase, I clipped the shadow to the table top, while the rest of the image is on layers above the lady in the blue dress, Jenna. For some reason, the shadows did not flow right when placed directly below the mug and vase. Anyway, I found a way to work according to my eyes’ view of things. 🙂
