Banana
When is a banana not good to eat?
These watercolor bananas look about right. But, if you want to know, check out this podcast/article from the University of Utah: How Long Should You Keep Fruits and Veggies?
These are painted on the iPad in ProCreate beneath two layers of watercolor paper images [the top layer is blended as “linear burn” and the lower layer is set to “multiply.” Then, using watercolor or other brushes the layers below act like watercolors. It is quite fun planning it out– each shade on a different layer. The table cloth is my own “gingko leaf” brush with texture brush on top of that to create the cloth look.
The prompt of “banana” is by the friends in #clmooc for #JanDoodle.
