Day 6 Snow Globe
Loved learning to create this snow globe– all ready for the holidays.
One Technique:
The snow globe effect includes two circles. Create the firsts circle in the color you want [you can change it later]. Duplicate that circle, put in alpha lock and fill it white. Then, transform it so it is just slightly smaller than the colored circle below it. That leaves the outline around the top. Grab an air brush as your eraser and gently erase the white color to reveal the color below, leaving the little white at the top upper right to create the illusion of glass. With brush mode, an air brush again in white, paint in an arch highlight [mine is hidden by my snowman] and to the right a small circle of “light.”
Between the two colored circles, add your snow globe creatures or houses.
Add the base and your background.
Wasn’t that fun?

Prompts are listed there; it is a class–but you can use the prompts in your way.

Update:
I tried the transparent globe process, turning down the transparency of the blue circle. I also distorted the red table runner for a little perspective and added a few more pine sprigs.
