Autumn leaves and cold days remind me how thankful I am for the sweet summer days before and the family gatherings ahead in the holidays. Sometimes the gatherings are filled with joy as new little ones arrive, and other times we feel the pain of lost love ones. But the winter gatherings allow us to share and remember, thankful for what was, what is, and what we will make better.
This design was originally created in ProCreate on an iPad [see Nouveau Sunshine]. However, I colored each area black, opened Adobe Capture, and imported it there to vectorize the basic design. Next, I opened that design in Affinity Designer on the iPad and recolored the design for autumn colors to fit the love quote by Maya Angelou.

I chose my palette with the help of Adobe Color.
May your autumn days be filled with family, friends, and thanks.
Note: I’m finally getting back to the Society 6 class. Society 6 just doesn’t upload for me, but I can at Red Bubble. I’ll be contacting Society 6 to see what the issues is. But the tips in the class and the work are still the same, wherever you choose to place your art. Here’s Liz’s Skillshare class list, in case you would like to try one or two or three.
