In March
rain drips
gently in the woods

In drops
spring seeps
slowly through the leaves

In warmth
soil thaws
moistly ‘round the seeds

In green
snowdrops grow
silently towards the sun

In white
blossoms bloom
brightly all around

In hearts
petals dangle
softly sending hope

In woods
couples pause
snuggly holding hands

In smiles
fingers point
gladly to the flowers

In love
hearts blend
warmly for spring’s gift

In March
rain drips
gently in the woods.
