Life Will Find a Way

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. One day on our daily walk, where the beginning of summer still edged the way with flowerless dirt in the garden spots, a lone iris found its time to bloom. It stood out, bold in its being, much like those of us in the world holding ourselves within and waiting for the time when openness returns and we can again stand up and be heard. I heard the voice of the iris this June.

We all belong. Our voices will be heard.

Life Will Find A Way

Life will find a way;
It will hold onto itself
within the stress
looking for that openness
to burst into bloom,
boldly proclaiming:
Behold! I belong!
