As we search for community, our neighborhood is getting back to short outdoor block parties that involve water balloon fights and treats. Our wonderful neighbors Rob and Glo provided over 2000 water balloons [with a gadget that fills them automatically] and this delicious German Chocolate Banana cupcake afterwards. Rob is the mastermind at setting up a water balloon fight, with safety rules in place. He even helped set this up at the local “Police and Community Open House.”

Thanks to Rob and Glo and all of our friendly neighbors ! Marvelous fun– serious giggles.

Neighbors gather in summer fun
Water balloons cool us from the sun
Splat and splash
Giggle and laugh
Then take a bite of cupcake yum!
