Every day, a photograph, a poem. The cat hates the rain. She stays inside and then torments us with pouncing play as we walk by, ignoring all the cat balls and toys we toss. Although a small hairband always catches her attention… Today she slinks in between the couch and the cabinet next to it, then turns around to peek out, able to surprise us in one pounce.

Watch Out For The Anxious, Persnickety Cat

A small space I found to peek
or perhaps to pounce
when the rain keeps me inside.
