Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today’s news gets gloomier– from forcing women into a lower class with less rights to allowing prayer in public schools.
History shows a contradictory timeline that resulted in understanding the need for a secular union and the inclusion of such in our sacred founding documents. [Smithsonian: Americas True History of Religious Tolerance], with George Washington, among others, emphasizing this:
“May the children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other inhabitants, while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and figtree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.” ~
George Washington

Explanation and Biblical reference Micah 4:4
The founders understood in their fight for their own liberty, that religion created oppression and disunity– and that could not be part of our new nation, even though the founders were devote in each one’s own beliefs. This should be our model again.
Apparently, we need to understand this again.
