A van, a chick, a snake: who will survive?

While driving in our van at the edge of the woods, we screeched to a stop as a chick stared at us from the middle of the road. Slinking closer to the chick, a hungry snake paused before striking, allowing the twins to hop out of the van with leftovers of spaghetti and pizza, a choice for the snake. And the chick’s farmer arrived and cried for joy, declaring us the winner of the day.
