Daily Note and Daily Create

Today is an example of my slice of life: a daily goal of photo/poem, Daily Create, and art/doodle. This is the #ds106 Daily Create @ds106dc #tdc3695 Spine Poem—- books from my own library. I thought today of my grandparents who lived through two world wars and a Great Depression, as well as floods, droughts, and tornadoes. I think we’ll make it through this time, and freedom will win— freedom for all, not just “one way.” We’ll put one foot in front of the other and with undaunted courage and kindness, bring hope for the flowers and us.

The ways of my grandmothers—
Undaunted courage,
Kindness,
Untangling some knots,
Making things change,
‘Tis
The evidence of things not seen—
Shades of meaning,
Hope for the flowers
Out of the dust:
Now one foot, now the other—
Every day
