Gobbledy Wobble

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Yesterday, staying in a motel while workmen installed new windows in parts of our old house, a trio sang for me while parading on their runway. So yesterday I shared pheasant, and today, turkey.

Gobbledy Wobble

Three gobbled by
Runway for bird stylin’
In earthly colors dabbled
In subtle and sienna hues
Presented in full fluff
Heads high and poised
Before bobbing away.
