Make Your Photo Old
To make my photo old, I followed the strategy by this Fotor “How to Make Your Photos Look Old” web page.
- Lower contrast
- Increase brightness
- Lower saturation
- Increase tint
- Add vignette around edges
- Increase grain… noise
- Add texture
- Blur background
The first five I could do with my iPhone in the Photos app. Then I brought the image into Procreate to add, with brushes from Lisa Bardot Texture Shaders, grainy texture, a bit more spots of texture, spotty noise, and, with Procreate’s select Gaussian Blur adjustment, a bit of blur on the left hedge and top of lighthouse. I also added a layer of orange-yellow on low opacity for better tint.
