Light the Way

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. In June of 2019 we had the joy of sharing with Allison and Josh their announcement of their baby at their baby shower. And on our way home from visits to family, we also take time to enjoy some sight, and this time it was the Mukilteo Lighthouse, a wonderful working navigation lighthouse managed by the city of Mukilteo along with a museum and park. It is, of course, near a beach for walking and picnicking.
Notice in the image above Scott’s reflection in the lens of the light, made in France. Enjoy more in the gallery:

Light the Way
Through fog and rain and snow

The light shines where to go
Each darker day in freedom’s fight
Shine for each other with loving light.

And, today is my son Greg’s birthday. He is a bundle of smarts and giggles; we called him giggley and in his presence, love and laughter bring joy every time. I love him dearly.

Happy Birthday Giggley
May love and laughter light your days
Love, Mom
And warm your heart and home;
May furry friends and family
Join in the woods you roam;
May joy and opportunity
Come through every open door
May life’s passing seasons
Bring the best to you and yours.
