Day 654 Reflection

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. It just seemed like last winter we hopped in the car for a holiday day drive to places we’d not been, finding ourselves at Potholes Reservoir, an amazing engineering feat bringing water to semi-arid land. Fog and snow and cold and a small bird in a tree on this silent day held a quiet beauty for us to just sit in our warm van and enjoy the peace. It seems a good picture to wish you such peace.

Holiday Cheers
Over the years
Time to consider
Memories to treasure
Despite the cold
Fog across rolled
Snow’s light is sight
Of future’s bright
More holiday cheers
In coming years.
