Day 639 Twinkling Lights

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today’s DecDoodle is about starry nights in the saying in my poinsettia wreath, and I found this photo of our street at this time of year— a quiet, twinkling night made more joyous with the candy canes put up by the city crew. I love that towns bring festivity to the season, whatever faith is yours; I hope the lights bring you joy.

Twinkling Candy Cane

Darkness comes in afternoons
Twinkling streets light attitudes
Breathing ease in silent calm
Worries for the moment gone.
