Day 637 Hope in a Hawthorn Tree

Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today’s Daily Create [ @ds106dc #tdc3619 ] is the inspiration for today’s photograph and poem. The photo is of our newly planted hawthorn tree in May of this year— a lovely tree, not too tall with lobed leaves and beautiful clusters of pink blooms each spring, followed by berries in the autumn. I love this little tree— it is one of hope, since all manner of creatures, especially birds, find shelter and sustenance from it. The buds sing hope, a bright pink hope.
The Daily Create is to to share a photo and poem of one’s favorite time of year, and its image includes the “bokeh” effect. As such, my response is this image, bokeh and poem included: Happy Hopeful Bokeh Spring: Hawthorn Buds, Bright Pink Blossoms
