Day 600 Sun Spiral
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. In November my doodles and my poetry will usually focus on my writing for National Novel Writing Month: NaNoWriMo. Today’s poem will refer to a character’s crest, a sun spiral, a connection of water and sky to the earth. It will also be the doodle for the day.
I love this image from one of our adventures — a sign on I-90 we had passed by so many times on our drives to family on the “west” side of the state— we exited the highway to tour Olmstead State Park. It’s an old homestead on which to wonder and be amazed at the efforts of the early life of twentieth century people. The sun filtered through the variety of trees surrounding the home and barn, and the beauty of it against the bright blue sky was a memory to keep in photo form. Today, it inspired the poem for #NaNoWriMo

Green of delightful foliage
Sunshine, the two ties,
A balance for the ages.
