Lost

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Sometimes the green stays even in October. Evergreens hold onto the emerald of summer through the winter so we remember this will pass.

Stepping into this wonder, I lose myself in this hope to soothe my sorrows. Nature’s way, found through moments taken in solitude and with one’s special ones. We find the way through.

Lost

Lost

Not in life

Not in the woods

But in thought

In grief

In solitude

For solace

From the whisper of the wind

From the coo of the mourning dove

From the buzz of busy bugs

From the hug of the moment

Wrapping calm, soothing sorrow,

Gathering nature’s courage

to step back into life’s light.
