Day 553 Yellow Roses
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. On Mother’s Day 2018, my son [whose nickname was giggley because he was and always is happy and giggley! ] brought me these lovely roses. The sign said they would only last a year, and that’s how long they lasted. They were small and lovely, and I was reminded of how much they meant to me when I completed the Daily Create today and noticed the lovely yellow roses [and wrote a haiku there as well] in the picture we all remixed.
Lovely, aren’t they?
Yellow Roses
Oh yellow roses
Mother’s Day delights, sunshine
from giggley son.
