Day 518 Dessert

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Smokey day: AQI-181. Hot day: 105°F. Staying inside and privileged enough to have air conditioning [when will someone invent this to be non-polluting] and air filters, although in our old house, the smoke does sneak inside.

Also privileged enough to have a delicious, yet simple dessert to distract me.

Dessert

Chocolate square placed
in the middle of a warm,
toasted, buttered half
of a whole wheat muffin, topped
with crunchy peanut butter.
