Day 500 Apple Leaves
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Last summer I started taking pictures of this window to create a video of changing seasons, but this spring my husband pruned the trees back to nothing [well- he hired someone] and this view was just poor little, blunt branches, ruining my plans for a seasons video. I cried, missing my daily view. Each morning that tree, through all seasons, greets me with hope. And now, it’s back. 🙂
Apple Leaves

pruning— lovely apple leaves
flutter light and dark,
catching hold of the sun’s rays,
signaling light through shadows.
