My CLmooc friends doodle every day. July’s prompts are from Rachelle at TinkerLab — #tinkerlab.  Today the prompt is spice, so how about some cinnamon, and its source?

What’s the difference between “spice” and herb?” Merriam-Webster has the complicated answer here. It’s an interesting read.

I knew I wanted to draw spices I used, but really– they are herbs. But I guess once they are dried and gathered into a bottle, they are spices.

So– what should I draw? Today’s new Skillshare class from Brenda Bakker answered that. Her class is illustrating a terrarium, but I turned it into my spice bottle following her teaching! I hope you like it.
