Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today we take our first road trip away from home for the day after 449 days of staying in our little town. And wouldn’t you know– a rainbow. And the firefighters did defeat the fire mentioned in my poem.

Taking our time

Staying safe

Back to a

Trafficked highway

No scenic byway

Construction stops

Pouring rain

Sun setting

Rainbow;

While back at home

Wind and heat

Fuel a fire

Our firefighters

Hopefully defeat.
