Day 429 Afternoon Nap
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
Every day I sneak out and try to discover where the cat sleeps in the afternoon, but she is so camouflaged that I never actually find her, although I’ve found a few places where she’s worn a little curved space into the dust or leaves.
And today I found not only my cat twice, but also the neighbor’s white cat — both in their afternoon “don’t bother me” catnap.
My cat:
Afternoon Nap
Finding that cool spot
the neighbor’s cat curls up in
the empty birdbath.
