Day 408 Dandy

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today on a cold and stormy day the lawn bloomed in sunny yellow dandelions, one of my favorite flowers. The fall leaves from the sycamore continue to fall after being raked up a zillion times while green grass blades pop up through the old brown lawn. Now, to bring sunlight on this thundery day, the dandelions show that they will refuse to stop growing, as should we.

Dandy

Some say, “Just dandy”

while digging out roots and all;

but the yellow blooms

delight my spirit; I love

they refuse to stop growing.
