Lilacs

They’ve leafed out! Oh!
Delight! Soon lilacs will bloom
a purple sweetness.

Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today I saw them– just outside the back door, the lilac leaves. Each spring I look for them and watch their progress as lilac buds pop out and then bloom a glorious purple sweetness that fills the air. I love them. And, in my NaNoWriMo novels I write each November, the lilacs bloom all year– and they are a bit magical !
