Of course my reading material would be art, and I tried to create the texture of the desk and the shadow of and on the glasses, which are close to the ones I do wear. The cover of the “Art Magazine” is a collage of my flowers in my yard– daffodils and pear blossoms filtered through a design stamp I created myself.
This type of art is relaxing– I can slowly create each bit, adding to it in color, design, highlights, and shadows to develop its rendition, blending it into the overall theme as needed.
Digital art is awesome– I can undo and redo, hide and unhide, rearrange, delete, and start over without fear of a mess or mistake I cannot correct. It gives confidence to artists who otherwise might not even try. I encourage you to give it a try!
