Day 365 Found Family Fun
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
It was a grey day; the sun went away. But here in the park, in its emptiness and silence was evidence of another family’s fun day!
Found Family Fun
Empty tables in
the park; grey, silent skies; a
bench hold the prizes.

And, a friend on FB started a poetry group today: four lines of poetry every two weeks. Sooo… the little park bench became another poem.

On my walk
Somehow the grey and silent skies hold us back;
Sometimes just noticing small things help us find our own sunshine,
Like the left behind collections of rocks and acorn caps found on a park bench,
A hello from someone on this grey day leaving sunshine for others.

And, while thinking about acorn caps, I found this: a toy to make from Acorn Caps— I haven’t tried it, but I shared it with the group. I wonder if it works?
