Day 351 Possibility
Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
You may notice the poem from my Daily Create post for today. That poem became the focus for my photo today: the canopy of our sycamore in the back yard with the daily light shining through to fit with the poem I wrote as a response to the request in the Daily Create to write a poem on abstract art to which I applied a the model from an Emily Dickinson poem, “I dwell in Possibility.”
Creating the abstract remix from yesterday’s practice art session with the idea of a poem in mind was a fun exercise planning colors and shapes to mix with the words.
And now the lighted canopy of our tree becomes another symbol of the hope from the light within our minds.
Best to you. Enjoy.
Do dwell in possibility
Do dwell in possibility
Of symmetrical Hope than downtrodden Fear
More radiant of sunshine-
Superior – for Dull.
Of Canopy in Forests—
Anticipative to Eyes—
And for an Everlasting Glow
The Candle of the Mind—
To Everyone — the daybreak—
For Equanimity—This—
The spreading wide the narrow Hold
To open Paradise…
